DESCRIPTION:Come and connect with yourself in an open-studio SoulCollage® card-making gathering! \nMost often our most powerful cards are made in just allowing the card to come in to us through the images without any pre-planning\, themes and agendas. No experience necessary! \nYou will need to bring a base card\, glue\, scissors\, a journal and pen. \nHere are some ideas for your base card (5×8 thick index cards\, mixed media journal\, spiral bound 5×8 index cards). \nI use SoulCollage® sets that you can purchase here  –or you can make your own with a cereal\, cracker box or any thin cardboard material you have on hand! 5X8 isn’t absolutely necessary but we want to have similar sizes as we make our deck.

And\, of course\, as always you can make any spontaneous card during our gathering if that is calling you! \n \nGratitude in Latin translation roughly means\, “for free”. It is suddenly seeing something with new eyes and something that wasn’t there before is magically transformed. SUMMARY:Full Moon SoulCollage®
DESCRIPTION:Come and join as we honor the cycles of life with the phases of the moon. A full moon — which will occur on Friday\, November 19 occurs when the moon appears as a complete circle in the sky. We see it as a full orb because the whole of the side of the moon facing the Earth is lit up by the Sun’s rays. \n  \nHaving a name for each Full Moon invites us humans to reflect on each season and to contemplate how it affects us AND the natural world around us. November Full Moon is known as the Beaver Moon. This was the time for us humans to set traps before the swamps froze to ensure a good supply of furs for the winter — and  a time when the beavers would be most active in their diligent preparation for winter completing their lodges and food stores. For us\, we can honor this symbolic time to pause and reflect on the power of being the architects and creators of our own life. This SoulCollage® event will invite us to pause and reflect where we are and what wants to be and use this time to harness the energy as a final motivating push before Winter to create action and transformation in our life. \n

We learn so much from others cards and sharing! \nSoulCollage® is a beautiful and intuitive self-discovery process accessed through collaging and card making. You create a deck of “your world” (inner parts and outer world) that can be accessed for daily readings and “working through” inner and outer conflicts. It is fun and accessible to anyone! \nI have found this process transformational and am excited to create the space for you to play\, discover and deepen your relationship with yourself so that you can know yourself more fully through accessing the inner-wisdom already within you.\n\nHere are some ways I use my SoulCollage® Cards:\n\n\nWorking through emotions/experience to gain insight and expression\nReadings of your cards to support personal guidance with decision-making\nExploring aspects of yourself and personality that have been ignored\nIntuitive guidance- exploring an issue\nMapping out parts to learn more about yourself\nJournaling with a card/part of us that needs more connection\nTracking your growth through on-going consultations around an area of focus\n\n\n \nHere is some information you will need in preparation:\n \nPlease be on-time for our gathering! This is hard to coordinate in groups but it helps with the flow and the optimization of the experience. It is hard to manage folks coming in late and is disruptive to the flow of the experience\, so try to log-on 5 minutes early\, so we can get started at 6pm. ( :\n\nBegin now to prepare for your experience – you are beginning to set yourself up for your experience right NOW\, so start enjoying this part of the process as your investment in your SELF. Try to make it special and enjoy the little steps along the way.\n\n\nStart to gather some pre-made images– magazines\, flyers\, calendars\, anything that inspires you. I love collecting and connecting with neighbors and friends to gather their old magazines.\nFind a cozy\, quiet and comfortable place to spread out and place your magazines\, images (calendars\, cards\, inserts) and supplies (scissors\, glue stick). Create a space that will allow you to tune-in\, listen and discover with minimal distractions (of course\, this is challenging these days\, but do your best).\nGather your supplies (scissors\, glue sticks\, card stock and images/magazines)\nHere are some ideas for your base card (5×8 thick index cards\, mixed media journal\, spiral bound 5×8 index cards).\nI use SoulCollage® sets that you can purchase here  –or you can make your own with a cereal\, cracker box or any thin cardboard material you have on hand! 5X8 isn’t absolutely necessary but we want to have similar sizes as we make our deck.\nFind a journal and pen to use at the gathering.\n\n \n\n\nAnytime Prior To The Gathering:\n \n1. Begin to gather some images and make two distinct piles \n\n\nLook through your images and find a foreground images…something to be a centerpiece – Find several that strike your fancy – anything that speaks to you; it doesn’t have to make sense and don’t think too much\, just begin to gather a small collection of these. These will go in one pile.\nLook through your images and find background images…something that will hold your centerpiece. Find several images and place them in the other pile.\n\n2. PUT THEM AWAY UNTIL THE GATHERING! This is important. We will play with them in our time together; so don’t think about this\, just gather and put away. \n\n\n \nThe Day Of The Gathering:\n\n\nCozy up your space.
