DESCRIPTION:For those of you who have made the deposit for the Unfurl New Year’s Retreat —a weekend retreat of quiet\, slowing down\, reflection\, creativity and play on the grounds of the Nazareth Retreat Center near Bardstown\, KY\, January 12 (5pm) – Jan 14 (3pm). \nWe will settle in to reflecting and connecting through movement/light yoga\, SoulCollage®\, creating a vision board\, walking/hiking\, walking with the labyrinth\, to listen more into our hearts and lives as we begin the New Year. \n     \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n$185 due January 5\, 2024. This does not include food. The participants will be making meals in the lodging and/or will have the option for the usage of the cafeteria. \n \n

It is fun and accessible to anyone! A deeply\, powerful transformational process of using collage to make cards to support self-discovery. You create a deck of SoulCollage® cards that represent YOU –that can be accessed for daily readings and “working through” inner and outer conflicts. \nIt is addictive as it brings about feelings of calm and access to inner-knowing! \nI am excited to create the space for you to play\, discover and deepen your relationship with yourself so that you can know yourself more fully through accessing the inner-wisdom already within you. \nHere are some ways I use my SoulCollage® Cards: \n\nWorking through emotions/experience to gain insight and expression\nReadings of your cards to support personal guidance with decision-making\nExploring aspects of yourself and personality that have been ignored\nIntuitive guidance- exploring an issue\nMapping out parts to learn more about yourself\nJournaling with a card/part of us that needs more connection\nTracking your growth through on-going consultations around an area of focus\n\nOur Open Studio is a time for intuitive process of discovery…Intuitive and nothing is pre-planned. You just go with what is coming up — or you can make an intentional card as well. \n Here is some information you will need in preparation for our gathering:\n \nYou will need to bring your cardstock\, scissors\, glue stick and a journal and a pen. \nYou will need to have something for the base of your cards. You can purchase a kit of SoulCollage® cards here  — or use some large index cards or card stock from a craft store. You can also make 5X8 card stock by cutting a cereal\, cracker\, or any other box  that may work Some have used the following: (5×8 thick index cards\, mixed media journal\, spiral bound 5×8 index cards) . No experience necessary! \nYou will need to bring a base card\, glue\, scissors\, a journal and pen. \nHere are some ideas for your base card (5×8 thick index cards\, mixed media journal\, spiral bound 5×8 index cards). \nI use SoulCollage® sets that you can purchase here  –or you can make your own with a cereal\, cracker box or any thin cardboard material you have on hand! 5X8 isn’t absolutely necessary but we want to have similar sizes as we make our deck.

DESCRIPTION:Come and join in SoulCollage® play on Sunday\, December 12th\, 4-6pm. \nWe will challenge our “thinking” parts with a quick card exercise and then play with a seasonal theme of Gratitude for card-making. And\, of course\, as always you can make any spontaneous card during our gathering if that is calling you! \n \nGratitude in Latin translation roughly means\, “for free”. It is suddenly seeing something with new eyes and something that wasn’t there before is magically transformed. SUMMARY:Full Moon SoulCollage®
DESCRIPTION:Come and join as we honor the cycles of life with the phases of the moon. A full moon — which will occur on Friday\, November 19 occurs when the moon appears as a complete circle in the sky. We see it as a full orb because the whole of the side of the moon facing the Earth is lit up by the Sun’s rays. \n  \nHaving a name for each Full Moon invites us humans to reflect on each season and to contemplate how it affects us AND the natural world around us. November Full Moon is known as the Beaver Moon. This was the time for us humans to set traps before the swamps froze to ensure a good supply of furs for the winter — and  a time when the beavers would be most active in their diligent preparation for winter completing their lodges and food stores. For us\, we can honor this symbolic time to pause and reflect on the power of being the architects and creators of our own life. This SoulCollage® event will invite us to pause and reflect where we are and what wants to be and use this time to harness the energy as a final motivating push before Winter to create action and transformation in our life. \n

You can use some large index cards or card stock from a craft store.
